Three Stone StepsThree Stone Steps

Sustainable. Fair made. Style. Three Stone Steps features fashion accessories for women and men, too. The items offered by Three Stone Steps are handcrafted in small workshops or, in keeping with the values and traditions of the local culture, made in people's homes. They are NOT manufactured in factories and absolutely NOT made in sweatshops. In fact, Three Stone Steps will not buy from any producer, no matter how fantastic the product, until a work site visit is completed.

In addition, Three Stone Steps takes effort to minimize the environmental impact of having an import business. Paper used for all operations is recycled, and printing is done with soy ink, when possible. Additionally, trips are minimized in an effort to reduce the company’s carbon footprint. Their web site is hosted by an employee-owned and carbon neutral provider. And, whenever practical, Three Stone Steps purchases items crafted from recycled and repurposed materials.

As a values-driven company, that is, one that cares about workplace justice and the environment, Three Stone Steps is proud to announce that it has been certified as “approved for people and planet,” by Co-op America. Additionally, Three Stone Steps is a member of Museum Store Association.
