Bamboomerangs was founded in March of 2009, by Tony and Heather Hoium during a downturn in the economy. They wanted to do something to help people as well as the environment. They chose bamboo because of it's incredible sustainability. Bamboo grows faster than any other plant on earth. It releases 35% more oxygen than the same stand of any other tree. The fabric is incredibly soft and luxurious (feels like silk/cashmere). It is anti-microbial, uv resistant, and it also feeds millions of people and wildlife every year.
Tony and Heather believe in One for One, and the power of responsible consumers. They are committed to living green and reducing their own carbon footprint too. They are always looking to make things better and help other people who are in need. Bamboomerangs' mission statement is .... "Help People First." They also just recently teamed up with TOMS and are proud to be supporting the One for One movement.
