HumaneEducation.org
HumaneEducation.org is the website of the Institute for Humane Education (IHE), a non-profit educational organization dedicated to creating a compassionate, just, sustainable world for all people, animals and the earth through humane education. IHE trains people to be humane educators and provides tools and inspiration for living an examined, meaningful life.
Humane education not only inspires individuals to make personal choices that do the most good and the least harm, but also teaches people how to become critical thinkers and problem solvers who have the knowledge and commitment to pursue creative answers to entrenched global challenges.
HumaneEducation.org offers relevant information for educators, advocates and citizens concerned about creating a better world. The site includes suggested humane education activities, books, videos and websites, our dynamic Humane Connection blog, and archives for our Humane Edge E-newsletter, as well as many other useful tools and resources.
The website also provides information about their distance-learning M.Ed. and HECP programs, their workshops and online courses, and other information about humane education and IHE.
